The 2010 Boot Camp and Photo Shoot is a weekend full of instruction, inspiration and advice followed by a photo shoot (4 looks). The cost of the photo shoot is included in the workshop ($250) so this is a great opportunity for models, actors and other talent to get tips for established industry professionals and keep the results!
The workshops are designed to educate aspiring actors, models and parents to the necessary steps toward becoming agency ready. The workshops will cover:
- importance of training
- a portfolio and why
- Headshots vs. Composite Cards
- marketing tools needed for the industry
- what the agent expects from the talent
- what is the agent's responsibility
- how to prepare a professional resume
- how to book more auditions and higher-paying assignments
- differences between Exclusive vs. Non-Exclusive Contracts
- what the casting directors expect from the talent
Modeling Boot Camp (Oct 22nd + 23rd)
Horace Bass, of NYC's Ford Agency, leads the modeling portion of BOOT + SHOOT with camera specific techniques and experience driven audition advice. Joining Horace Bass will be Vince Paul, of North Carolina's Talent Link, a talent agency with extensive list of East Coast clients.

Photo Shoot (October 24th)
You will spend the afternoon shooting with model photographers, Allie Mann and Matthew Aponte. The location will be in a home at the beautiful Epping Forest Yacht Club in the San Marco area of Jacksonville. Your shoot will include up to a maximum of 4 outfits and you will receive 3 unedited high resolution digital pictures from your shoot. Please note that models will be responsible for their own hair and makeup. Prints, Portfolios, Compcards and additional edited digital images, will be available at an additional charge.
Cost & Registration: $250 includes Boot Camp and Photo Shoot
Parents will be admitted for Free $250.00 Per Participant includes full Boot Camp + Photo Shoot. $150.00 total Per Additional Sibling(s). This workshop will be limited to the first 20 participants so register early to take advantage of this great deal.
A total value of $550 if Camp and Photo Shoot were scheduled seperately.

San Marco Magazine Model Search (Oct 21st)
The Thursday before 2010 Boot + Shoot Kezia Rolle Model and Talent will be hosting a Model Search for the San Marco Magazine Christmas Issue. KR Model will be in front of the Hobbie Horse during Affair in the Square in San Marco from 6 PM - 9 PM.
This is an FREE event that the San Marco merchant's association puts together to give artist a chance to get exposure in front of the San Marco square. They usually have discounts and specials so it's a good night to get some shopping done with live entertainment including music and performing artists.
