The Performers Academy has a recording suite that it makes available to Jacksonville musicians. This space has been used for voice overs, developing tracks and even blending and transitioning the ballet music for the Jacksonville Center of the Arts.

Meet Tim Brinkley

TimB.gifTim Brinkley has had musical influences in his life since he was a small child.  Raised in the 70's, Tim grew up listening to his parents harmonizing original tunes and doing covers of Motown hits. A member of the Youth Choir at West Union Baptist Church in 1981, Tim began writing and performing Hip Hop lyrics in 1984, performed in Florida venues with Chill Deal and MC Cool Rock & DJ Chaszy Chess. Took part in the 1988 Allstate Chorus in Tampa Florida (baritone 1&2) while attending Jefferson Davis where he was VP of the JD Jazz show choir directed by Joyce Beason. Technically savvy with a devotional affinity for music, Tim has developed a respected skillset as an audio recording engineer and digital composer. Tim has recorded with various local studios in Jacksonville since ¼ in reel-to-reel was the choice recording medium and evolved his skills as technology improved. Using resources such as online training from David Mellor's Audio Master Class, Berklee College of Music online community and 11 years of real world experience recording audio for video, voiceovers, poets, singers and hip hop artists.
