Musical Theatre classes at The Performers Academy

Do you ever sing along with songs on the radio?...Imagine your name in lights?... dream of a career on Broadway ?... Think of auditioning for Disney, or the cruise ships?...Or just want to have fun and learn about the theater and build self confidence????

This is a perfect starting ground. Come join Lisa, a veteran of the theater for over thirty five years! Lisa has appeared on B'way in "Forum", and "A Chorus Line". She has a BFA, magna cum laude, in theatre from Jacksonville University. Lisa has danced, acted, choreographed and directed professionally in Las Vegas, Reno, L.A., N.Y., Tokyo, the Bahamas, Montreal, Toronto, and many others. She danced on the Emmys, the Oscars, as well as music videos. She also choreographed the movie 'Cool World' with Kim Bassinger and "Feeling Minnesota' with Camaron Diaz. Lisa has appeared in 18 shows at the Alhambra Theatre and Dining in Jacksonville and most recently as the wicked step mother in 'Cinderella' and as Rosie the rapping grandma in 'The Wedding Singer'.

Classes are Saturday AM from 9 - 11. Enrollment is revolving and classes sold in 8 week packages. Tuition includes periodical performances as new numbers and students are added. Classes are $225 per 8 weeks ($10 / hr.)

Classes are Saturdays from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM. You're only as old as you feel so we've added a musical theatre class for older children and even older adults! Sing, dance and perform classical Broadway hits under the direction of Lisa Clarson. Classes are $225 per 8 weeks ($10 / hr.)
